WELCOME
Hello I am Fauzia,
I started my journey into the field of mental health and substance abuse in 1985. Through self-observation and mindfulness, I got to know Me, not the conditioned Me but the unconditioned Me; I found Eckhart Tolle and Kim Eng’ s teachings and mindfulness meditations most helpful in my transformation.
I understand reaching out for help is a difficult process but necessary if one is to experience joy, happiness, contentment, peace and love, one must become aware of the workings of Body Form versus the Self. Identification with one’s narratives, constructs and concepts will lead to more suffering because there is no end to thoughts and more thoughts, so on and so forth.

TESTIMONIALS
Our grandmother has been with Fauzia for many years now. Shortly after becoming caretakers for our grandmother and moving her in with us we experienced many difficulties that were a result of her not being properly treated for multiple mental issues. Eventually it became so bad at home that we had to move her to a assisted living facility to help stabilize her through medication and proper mental health care. This is where she met Fauzia for the first time. Fauzia helped our grandmother to redirect her negative thoughts over several years now so in the end our grandmother was able to move back home and enjoy living with her family. Thank you so much for your continuous work to keep her stable and happy. We are so grateful for the help you provide for our entire family!

"Over the past year Ms. Shah provided supportive therapy to deal with a divorce, and is now helping me address chronic traumas and shame. She is a compassionate therapist, and spiritual guide, whose in-depth knowledge of psychology literature allowed her to recommend many helpful books."

"I originally saw Ms. Shah to find out if I had ADHD. I am so grateful that I found her! I had so much more going on. She followed me down my rabbit hole and helped pull me back out. She is very empathetic, encouraging and an absolute joy to talk with. I still have a long way to go but I am thankful I have her to help!"

Fauzia has been a huge support in my mental wellness journey. She has provided great perspective on sensitive topics that I have struggled with from a young age into my adult years. Working with Fauzia has been a big part of my recovery and healing from childhood trauma.

I can't say enough about therapy with Fauzia. She has helped me completely change the dynamic of our family. She is an excellent listener and has a very keen insight to help determine the issues. I have been able to use her recommendations in actual situations with great success. I was having issues relating with my adult daughter. Fauzia helped me see both sides and change my behavior patterns, which in turn changed our dynamic. Our relationship has never been better. Fauzia is very easy to talk to, like a good friend. There is no judgment from her. I have uncovered other negative behavior patterns with Fauzia that I am working on resolving. I feel a sense of peace I haven't felt in years. Fauzia F. Shah

Fauzia Shah is a skilled, attentive, and professional therapist. She helped me identify and cope with triggers for my CPTSD. Additionally, she assisted me in overcoming my fear of driving. I can tell she really listens to me, and she provides excellent insight from another point of view. After working with her this past year, my quality of life has greatly increased. --

I have found much resonance, understanding and insight with Ms. Shah. This includes my challenges with narcissistic relationships since birth. More recently, as part of my training to become a certified mindfulness meditation teacher, I have been exploring collective trauma and colonialism, which Ms. Shah could relate to and provide valuable feedback and food for thought.
With a similar cultural background, she could relate to my struggles with it to find a sense of belonging and groundedness.

I am incredibly thankful for working with Fauzia Shah. A handful of times in my life I have sought therapy but have never been able to truly address underlying issues like I have been able to under her guidance. I am so grateful to be able to recognize unhealthy thought patterns and am proud of how far I have come working with Fauzia.

It has been incredibly helpful to work with Fauzi- her knowledge and training around trauma informed care has been the answer to many of the issues I have carried around CPTSD. As a mental health professional, I also really appreciate the depth of understanding she brings to her work and have learned so much from her application. She is an expert in this field and has thankfully chosen to put her hand to the plow in the difficult realm of trauma informed care. I am deeply grateful for her help and am excited for others to be able to access her expertise.
